K48 issue No. 1

$10.00 / Sold Out

The first issue of K48 was an astonishing snapshot of the New York art world at the beginning of a new millennium. The publication was an amalgamation of art, fashion, architecture, design, and music, fused together in an experimental format that referenced everything from D.I.Y. zine culture to glossy magazines in a CD sized format. Featuring contributions from young and emerging artists such as Jeremy Blake, Ryan McGinley, Kelley Walker, Meredyth Sparks, Fischerspooner, Rachel Harrison, Slava Mogutin and Ricci Albenda, the magazine was the place to discover new and thrilling talents, as well as acting as a barometer for how the underground became the establishment over the course of a decade.
