WHO'S AFRAID OF AMANDA LEAR?

$150.00

Amanda Lear once told the American music industry that they didn't understand her more European brand of intellectual disco. A true underground legend, she was Salvidor Dali's muse, dated Bowie, and appeared on an album cover for Roxy Music with a panther on a leash. She claims to be a biologically born female—the archetype of a woman, but once in London when the cops busted a party they discovered that her passport photo was a teenage boy. I meet Amanda back in 2006 and made this limited edition punk-rock band poster made up from things she said in interviews like, "Men are like Kleenex, use them and then toss them away!" Hand-printed silkscreen gloss black on metallic silver, 19.125 x 14.5 inches, edition of 20 with 3 APs.
